| Personal History | Born the youngest and only daugther to Jordan and Miriam Stiles, Quinn grew up with 4 very over protective brothers and a burning desire to be 'one of the boys'. Often considered tomboyish in her youth, she never the less blossomed into womanhood with a body honed by swimming and surfiing (she won an All Austrailia youth title in her early teens) and a mean right hook honed by her borthers. Her family already had a long history of service and despite some wishes by her mother Quinn always knew that she would eventually join Starfleet. However the Romulan war broke out when Quinn was still a teenager. She tried to enlist early but was caught out, and forced to wait until she was 18, just starting at the academy when the war ended. By then she had lost two brothers in the war, and a plethora of other relatives. The Stiles family served proudly in the defense of Earth, and paid the price. Quinn was determined to prove she was just as good as those who got to serve before she could. |
