Interruptions and Information

Mission: Mission 0 - Pre-Sigma Iotia II
Location: XO's Office
Timeline: 2167/07/03 1130

Fiona headed for the Executive Officer's office, hoping the woman was in. She could have checked, but decided that she could use the walk either way. When she reached the door, she pressed the chime and played with an errant piece of hair while she waited for the response.

Checking the information there current condition was more a headache for her then she had hoped for. Konya rubbed her forehead and shrugs towards the information. Leaning backward in her chair as she looked at the chime "Enter" She said looking at the door.

Fiona walked through the door, a smile on her face and her eyes roamed over the office and its inhabitant. "Hello Commander," she moved up to stand in front of her desk. "I am Doctor Fiona, I just wanted to report in."

Seeing the woman walking in as Konya took a deep breath "Yes, welcome Doctor. I am Commander Misoka, the Horizon First Officer" She spoke with a soft smile at the end of her sentence "I hope you have settled in without any problems?"

"Yes, of course," Fiona nodded. "Everything went smoothly, and though most of the medical staff hasn't arrived yet, the medical bay is in order." She looked around the office and then back to Misoka. "I wanted to take the time to meet as many as I could. Also, it's come to my attention that some of the medical files didn't transfer properly, so I would like to request that you come see me at your earliest convenience to go over your medical file and to get your physical done."

Nodding towards her "Good to hear that" Hearing the request for medical checkup made Konya shrug "Well I guess I can't avoid that checkup now can I? Did Starfleet not provide you with the last reports of all members or just a safety check on everyone?" She asked and grabbed a PADD to write some information down for her to-do-list.

"They provided me with the last reports, as far as I know," Fiona frowned. "However, in discussion with Captain Alexander, I found there was some important information missing from his file. I just want to check with everyone to ensure I have all the correct medical history. I cannot risk someone getting ill or hurt because I did not double check."

"That sounds reasonable doctor" Konya replied towards her statement "But sometimes certain documents are removed for a certain reason by Starfleet" Konya pointed out as she leans backward "We need to respect that, even if its medical"

"True, however, a person's allergies should not be removed, no matter the reasons," Fiona pointed out. "It is information like that that I am looking for, not anything classified."

"Far fetch to let an allergy be removed Doctor" Konya shrugs "That is tampering with medical files, which is illegal by Starfleet law..." Konya looked at her "I hope you will find nothing, it is less of a headache for me"

"It was probably just a glitch in the system as they were transferring files," Fiona gave a shrug. "So far his and one other have only had minor things missing. I've gone over a handful or more of them. I just want to make sure I've got all pertinent information so that I don't make any mistakes while treating you." She rubbed her arm idly, feeling suddenly quite self conscious. "I, too, hope to find nothing missing from your file."

"Maybe ask Starfleet Medical for a copy of the files. It might reach the ship before lauching?" Konya asked trying to think wiht the situation at hand "Other then that, there is not much we can do then indeed do all prechecks with the crew members one by one"

"I have already requested new copies of the files be sent," Fiona nodded. "However, in the mean time, I want to make sure I have correct information in case it does not reach us before we ship out."

"Better be sure then lose any grip, understandable"Konya replied "So...anything else you wish to discuss with me Doc?" It was no secret that Konya had a pile of work to do and waiting for her.

"No, ma'am. I'll let you get back to your work," Fiona gestured at the office in general. "I'm sure you've got a lot to do before we head out. Please come see me at your earliest convenience, though!" She moved toward the door, but waited to see if Konya was going to say anything else.

Nodding towards that "Thanks, I need it..." She mutters and looked at the pile of work "Oh ...doc, keep watch on our Captain. I got reports from Starfleet that he has....urges" Konya shrugs at that.

Fiona was thoroughly confused about what Konya meant. "Uhm.. Ok..." she said as she walked through the door, and headed for the lift. 'What on Earth did she mean by urges?' she thought as she walked down the corridor.
